Your Free Introductory Lesson
A relaxed, structured introduction to karate training, designed to help you decide whether this feels right for you.
What this introductory lesson is about
Your free introductory lesson is a simple way to experience training in our dojo before making any decisions.
It is not a test, and there are no expectations placed on you. The aim is to help you feel comfortable, understand how training is delivered, and see whether this style of training fits your goals and lifestyle.
Here's how it works

1. Book a time that suits you
Choose a time that works for you and complete the short booking form.
Once your booking is received, our team will confirm the details and make sure you have everything you need for your first visit.

2. Arrive and get oriented
When you arrive, you will be welcomed by one of our teachers and shown around the dojo.
You will have a chance to ask any questions and get a feel for the space before training begins.
We understand that starting something new can feel unfamiliar. Our role is to help you feel at ease and supported from the moment you arrive.

3. YOUR PRIVATE INTRO LESSON
During this lesson, you will be introduced to the way we teach, guided through some basic movements and what happens during a regular class.
This is also a chance for us to understand what you are looking for, your goals, and what type of training would suit you best.
If it feels appropriate, you may then be invited to attend a beginner group class to experience the group environment as well.
Notice how the training feels
As you train, pay attention to how you feel in the environment, how the teaching is delivered, and whether the class structure makes sense to you.
Many adults notice that training provides a rare opportunity to focus fully on themselves, away from daily distractions.
After your introductory lesson
At the end of your session, you will have time to ask questions and talk through your experience with a teacher. If the training feels like a good fit, we can explain the available training options and what the next steps would look like.
The introductory lesson is designed to give you clarity, answer your questions, and help you decide what feels right for you.
A supportive approach to adult training
Many adults who attend an introductory lesson have never trained in martial arts before. Others are returning after many years away.
Our approach is based on patience, clear instruction, and steady progress. There is no expectation to compete or perform. Training is about personal development, consistency, and confidence over time.
